Byblos Pub Quiz Charity Night

After the success of the first Nell Gwynne charity Quizmas night in December 2012, we are organising another night of quiz fun, in association with the Nell Gwynne pub at the Byblos Hotel, Dubai Marina, on February 26th, 7.30pm. The night will raise money for a charity that works to rehabilitate wounded soldiers by taking them to the Swiss Alps. Skiing With Heroes will take about a dozen permanently disabled British soldiers to Switzerland for a week at the start of March. Each soldier needs two 'buddies' who accompany them, along with experienced instructors/physios, so the effort requires a lot of people to ensure it's a success, and a lot of money. I will be going with the group to be a 'ski buddy' for the week, but the money raised on the night will not go towards any of my travel expenses (fear not) ... The money will go to the charity to cover costs for the week. Whatever is raised on the night will be donated direct to the charity, who have asked me to raise £750, although I hope we can raise much more than that. The quiz will have a general theme, with music, film, sports, picture rounds and more, followed by the highly entertaining house band rocking until the wee hours.
