Kodiyettam (Flag Hoisting): The ceremonial opening followed by Keli, Kombu Pattu, and Kuzhal Pattu, invoking the spirit of Thrissur Pooram.
Madathil Varavu Panchavadyam: Led by Thimila maestro Pallavoor Sreedharan Marar, featuring Maddalam virtuoso Vennimala Anu, presenting the grandeur of Kerala’s rhythmic orchestra.
Panchari Melam: A once-in-a-lifetime performance led by Padma Shri Mattannur Shankarankutty Marar, Kerala’s legendary Chenda maestro, featuring Malayalam cine actor Padma Shri Jayaram, performing for the first time outside Kerala.
Ilanjithara Melam: The powerful percussion spectacle led by Kizhakkoottu Aniyan Marar, Melapramani of Thrissur Pooram’s Ilanjithara Melam, joined by Cheranelloor Sankarankutty Marar, Kalamandalam Sivadas, Cheroor Rajappan, Mattannur Sreekanth, Mattannur Sreeraj, and Paramekkavu Abhishek, the youngest Melapramani at Thrissur Pooram.
Nadaswaram: Soulful melodies by Kottappadi Surendran, one of Kerala’s foremost wind instrument artists.
Kavadi & Shinkari Melam: Energetic traditional performances that celebrate Kerala’s cultural rhythm.
Kaala Kali: A captivating folk ritual involving the ceremonial crafting and carrying of ox figures made from bamboo, hay, and cloth.
Machad Mamangam: Back by popular demand — the majestic horse procession returns for the second time, blending heritage with energy and rhythm.
Thekkottirakkam Pooram: The iconic southward procession where decorated elephants exit the main temple through the southern gate, accompanied by synchronized Kudamattam (umbrella exchange) and the resonant Pancha Vadyam — a breathtaking recreation of one of Thrissur Pooram’s most celebrated rituals.
Robotic Elephants: Witness the splendor of seven real-sized robotic elephants, adorned with magnificent parasols and ornaments.
Ghoshayathra: A grand procession showcasing Kerala’s traditional art forms in their full vibrancy.
Live Music & DJ Performances: Conclude the evening with Job Kurian Live featuring Sayanora, followed by an electrifying DJ performance blending Kerala rhythm with global energy.

Ghadaka Pooram: A grand spectacle featuring 7 Desham’s Pooram processions, each with around 200 participants, presenting the true spirit of Thrissur Pooram through traditional Melam and pageantry.
Mega Thiruvathira: A mesmerizing group dance performance with 250 participants, showcasing Kerala’s graceful classical rhythm.
Mega Veeranattyam: A powerful display of valor and tradition through synchronized folk dance.
Panchari Melam by Paramekkavu Abhishek: Experience the brilliance of Kerala’s youngest Melapramani, leading an exhilarating Chenda Melam performance.
Keli Performance: Traditional percussion ensemble marking the ceremonial opening of the celebrations.
Kathakali – Purappadu: A vibrant presentation of Kerala’s classical dance-drama in its most traditional form.
Anachamayam Inauguration: The grand showcase of majestic elephant ornaments and regalia that form an integral part of the Pooram tradition.
Basma Kavadi: A devotional ritual dance filled with rhythm, color, and spiritual intensity.
Nadaswaram: Melodic performances by top artists bringing the soulful sounds of Kerala’s wind instruments to life.
Shinkari Fusion by Team Indri: A high-energy musical fusion blending traditional Chenda rhythms with modern beats, creating a thrilling finale for Day 1.
