New Covent Garden Presents: The Laughter Lounge by 3albaraka

The Laughter Lounge by 3albaraka is a three-month series of six unique improvised comedy shows, bringing spontaneous storytelling, audience interaction, and plenty of surprises to the stage at New Covent Garden Theatre, Dubai.

Running throughout September, October, and November, the series features six different shows, each with its own title, concept, and improvisational format. What connects them all is one simple idea: the audience helps create the show.

Nothing is fully scripted. Throughout each performance, audience suggestions become the starting point for scenes, characters, stories, challenges, and unexpected moments — brought to life on the spot by the performers. Every suggestion can take the show somewhere completely different, making every performance a one-of-a-kind experience.

Presented in Arabic and English, The Laughter Lounge celebrates the spontaneity of improv while creating a space where performers and audiences share the stage in a playful, unpredictable, and interactive comedy experience.

By car: There are many ways to reach your destination including heading toward Sheikh Zayed Road, merging onto E11, and taking the exit for Umm Suqeim Street. Continuing toward the Mall of the Emirates ramp, keeping left, and making the final left turns will lead you to your destination. GPS navigation is highly advised.

By public transportation: For the shortest walking distance, take bus 84 to the Mall of the Emirates 2-1 bus stop followed by a five-minute walk. You can also easily reach your destination by taking the MRed Lines to the Mall of the Emirates Metro Station followed by a 17-minute walk.

By taxi: You can easily reach your destination by taking a taxi or a ride-hailing app.
