Kvartet I Presents “Kvartetnik” in Dubai: An Intimate, Improvisational Evening with Russia’s Most Beloved Comedy Quartet on 29 December 2026

Moscow's iconic comedy theatre Kvartet I — authors of the beloved Radio Day, Election Day, and What Men Talk About — invites audiences to experience Kvartetnik, a deliberately unpolished theatrical project that blurs the line between performance and genuine conversation.

Rather than a conventional play, Kvartetnik is conceived as an unrehearsed gathering. The four founding members — Leonid Barats, Rostislav Khait, Kamil Larin, and Alexander Demidov — are there to sit with the audience and let the evening unfold organically: from sharing personal stories and favourite songs to reciting poems and film excerpts that shaped who they are.

Each Kvartetnik show is unique, stitched together in the moment through improvisational themes suggested by the audience. In an age of polished entertainment, Kvartetnik offers something increasingly precious: unfiltered human connection and the simple pleasure of spending time in the company of people who know how to talk, listen, and laugh.

Founded in 1993 by four graduates of the GITIS Variety Faculty, Kvartet I has become one of the most influential forces in contemporary Russian comedy. Their stage works — many of which later became hit films such as What Men Talk About, Election Day, and Radio Day — combine sharp observation, verbal virtuosity, and a uniquely Russian blend of irony and warmth. Over more than thirty years, the quartet has refined a style that feels both intimate and universal, earning a devoted following and a lasting place in the cultural landscape.

Venue doors open 60 minutes before the show starts.
The age limit is 16+ years for this event.
All guests 16+ years old require a valid ticket.
Those aged 16 to 20 years will be allowed to attend if accompanied by an adult aged 21+.
Those under 16 years old are not allowed.

By public transportation: The nearest metro station is the World Trade Centre Station, which is located on the Red Line. You can take the metro and get off at the World Trade Centre Station, which is just a short walk away from the venue.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the Dubai World Trade Centre. It's a famous destination, and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
