Fairytales with Orchestra is an enchanting family concert combining the power of a live symphony orchestra with live storytelling, bringing some of the world’s most beloved tales to life on stage.

Guided by a live narrator, young audiences will journey through enchanted lands, bustling Eastern markets and extraordinary adventures - meeting familiar characters from Aladdin and Sinbad the Sailor to Peter and the Wolf and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

As each story unfolds, the orchestra becomes part of the adventure. Different instruments introduce characters, create magical worlds and bring every scene to life through music.

Featuring colourful orchestral masterpieces by Prokofiev, Dukas, Rimsky-Korsakov, Nielsen and more, the programme is designed to introduce children to classical music in an engaging and imaginative way.
