Winter City takes place from 11 to 31 December 2026 at Al Wasl Plaza, Expo City Dubai.

Winter City is one of Dubai’s most loved holiday destinations, bringing the spirit of the season to life at Al Wasl Plaza, Expo City Dubai. A celebration for all ages, it brings together cherished festive traditions, immersive experiences, family entertainment, seasonal treats and joyful activities, creating a place where families and friends come together to celebrate, explore and make lasting memories.

3. What is Once Upon a Holiday…?
Once Upon a Holiday… is the exciting theme of this year’s edition, presented by Winter City and Disney+, bringing beloved storytelling worlds to life through themed experiences and activities for visitors to discover.

4. What Disney+ inspired experiences can I enjoy at Winter City?
This year’s experiences include themed activities inspired by Toy Story, Marvel, Home Alone, Frozen, Disney Princesses and more.

5. Will the usual Winter City favourites return this year?
Yes! Visitors can enjoy festive favourites, including meeting Santa at his Grotto, Mrs. Claus’ Bakery, writing letters to Santa, snowfall, festive markets, seasonal treats and tree-lighting moments. Please check the official programme for timings and schedules.

6. What does the Express Entry Pass include?
The Express Entry Pass provides fast-track entry at the Winter City entrance only. It does not provide express access to any other areas or experiences within Winter City.

7. What is the Santa Meet-and-Greet add-on, and is it available to everyone?
The Santa Meet-and-Greet add-on guarantees a meet-and-greet with Santa and is available exclusively to Express Entry Pass holders. Availability is limited each day, so we recommend booking in advance.

8. Do children need a ticket?
Yes, however, children aged three and under can enter free of charge.

9. Are tickets available at the gate?
Yes, tickets are available for purchase at the gate.

10. Can I leave and re-enter Winter City on the same ticket?
Yes. You can exit and re-enter Winter City multiple times on the same day, provided you keep your admission wristband on throughout your visit.

11. Are tickets refundable or transferable?
No. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please check our T&Cs page.

12. Do I need to book separate tickets for the Disney+ experiences?
No. Your Winter City admission ticket includes access to the Disney+ themed experiences. Some workshops, however, may require an additional fee.

13. Are food and beverage options available?
Yes! A variety of food and beverage options are available at Winter City, including seasonal treats and refreshments.

14. Are there restrooms and baby-changing facilities?
Yes. Restrooms and baby-changing facilities are available within Expo City Dubai. Please follow the venue signage or ask a member of our team for directions to the nearest facilities.

15. Is Winter City accessible for People of Determination?
Expo City Dubai is fully accessible, with wheelchair-friendly paths, priority seating, accessible restrooms, and dedicated support to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless experience.

16. Are tickets free for People of Determination (POD)?
Yes, entry is free for People of Determination, with one accompanying caregiver admitted free of charge.

17. Are pets allowed at Winter City?
Pets are not permitted at Winter City. Registered service animals assisting People of Determination are allowed.

18. Is there a dress code?
Ticket holders are expected to maintain a respectful and appropriate standard of dress that reflects the atmosphere of the event, ensuring clothing is modest and inoffensive. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry for non-compliance.

19. Are buggies or shuttles available within Expo City Dubai?
Yes. A paid buggy service is available to transport visitors from the parking area to the venue, subject to availability.

20. Is there a mosque or prayer facility nearby?
Yes. Mosques and prayer facilities are located within walking distance of Al Wasl Plaza. Please follow the venue signage or ask a member of our team for directions.

21. Where can I get help during the event?
Our friendly team will be available at the Information Booth near the entrance to assist with any queries. You can also reach us on Instagram at @alwaslseason.

By purchasing or using a ticket or attending Winter City 2026 (the “Event”), you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Event Information and Admission

• Venue: Al Wasl Plaza, Expo City Dubai.
• Dates: 11–31 December 2026.
• Event Organizer: Expo City Dubai, including its relevant affiliates and subsidiaries (the “Event Organizer”).
• Tickets are for General Admission only. Entry and access to activities are subject to capacity and availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Ticket prices are as displayed on Platinumlist. Children aged 3 and below enter free of charge. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult aged 21 or above.
• People of Determination and one accompanying carer are entitled to complimentary admission, subject to applicable verification requirements.
• Tickets are valid only for the selected date. Re-entry is subject to venue capacity and the Event Organizer's sole discretion and may be refused at any time.
• All tickets and Add-Ons are strictly non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
• Tickets will be delivered through the selected purchase method. Purchasers are responsible for providing accurate contact details and presenting valid tickets and identification upon request.
• The Event Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person for inappropriate behaviour, safety concerns or non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions, without refund

• Workshops and activities included in the ticket price are subject to availability, capacity and supplies, on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Certain activities and experiences require separate Add-On purchases. Valid proof of purchase must be presented for redemption at participating locations.
• The Event Organizer may modify, restrict, replace or cancel any activity, workshop, attraction or Event arrangement at its sole discretion, without providing alternatives, refunds or compensation.

 
3. Photography and Filming

• The Event Organizer and its authorised parties may photograph, film and record the Event and its attendees, including minors, and use, edit, reproduce and publish such materials for promotional, advertising, marketing and commercial purposes, worldwide, through any media, during or after the Event, without compensation or further approval.
• By purchasing a ticket or attending the Event, ticket holders acknowledge and consent to such photography, filming, recording and use, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Adults accompanying minors are responsible for obtaining any legally required parental or guardian consent.
• Professional photography, videography and commercial recording by attendees are prohibited without the Event Organizer's prior written approval.

• Attendance, participation in activities and consumption of food and beverages are at the ticket holder's own risk. Parents and guardians are responsible for minors under their supervision.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Event Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, contractors, sponsors and partners shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, theft, expense or claim arising from or in connection with the Event.
• The Event Organizer does not guarantee access to any particular activity, attraction, workshop or experience and shall not be responsible for shortages, capacity restrictions, delays or unavailability.
• The Event Organizer reserves the right to change operating hours, programmes, activities, venue arrangements, access requirements and capacity, or suspend any part of the Event, without prior notice, refund or compensation, except where required by applicable law.
• Ticket holders must comply with all applicable laws, Expo City Dubai policies, safety requirements and instructions issued by the Event Organizer or its representatives.

5. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited within the Event venue:

• Outside food and beverages, hard-cased cooler bags, chairs and stools.
• Professional cameras, laptops, tablets, selfie sticks, tripods and recording equipment.
•  Bags exceeding 30 × 30 × 15 cm.
• Flags, banners, posters or signs exceeding 30 × 30 cm, flagpoles and offensive materials.
• Bicycles, skateboards, skates and scooters.
• Strollers and pushchairs, which must be parked outside Al Wasl Plaza.
• Alcohol, illegal substances, weapons, sharp objects and projectiles.
• Sports balls, chains, spiked accessories and studded belts.
• Fireworks, flares, laser pointers, permanent markers, scissors and aerosols.
• Drones, remote-controlled devices, glow sticks and LED signage.
• Motorbike helmets, balaclavas, horns, whistles, sirens and other noise-making devices.
• Umbrellas exceeding 30 cm when closed.
• Animals, except recognised assistance or service dogs.

The Event Organizer may prohibit any additional items deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

6. General

• The Event Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at its discretion.
• The Event Organizer shall have final authority over admission, re-entry, capacity, safety, Event operations and enforcement of these Terms & Conditions.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the UAE and the Emirate of Dubai.
• By purchasing or using a ticket or entering the Event, ticket holders confirm their acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
