Bollywood star Shankar Mahadevan plays Dubai
Award winning singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan is coming to Dubai on Friday September 9 to play at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium. Playing as part of the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio, they'll be playing the Songs of Krishna, a live show themed around Krishna, bringing together bhajans, qawwalis, thumris, abhangs as well as more Western traits like rock and jazz.
The conceptual live show brought to the UAE by Tambourine Live features musicians from across India playing the flute, tabla, guitar and keyboard, while they'll be singing in a range of languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Tickets start from AED100 from Platinumlist.net, with doors open at 7pm and the show starting from 7.30pm.
