The Philippines' Prince of Rock, Bamboo, is set to return to Dubai for a live concert performance.
Bamboo rocked Dubai for 2 consecutive years, 2013 and 2014 and now, he is back to stun his Filipino fans.
Being in the music industry for more than 20 years, Bamboo is well-known for his iconic voice and meaningful, relevant song messages. He earlier played as the front man of Rivermaya, and popularized hits released in the late 90s such as “Himala”, “214” and “Ulan”.
After which, he later became the front singer of the band Bamboo, releasing famed hits in the pop-rock genre, “Noypi”, “Tatsulok”, “Masaya”, “Much Has Been Said” and many more.
He eventually went on a solo career, in 2011 releasing 2 albums since then, “No Water, No Moon” and the most recent “Bless This Mess”. In 2012, Bamboo won the award “Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist”, given by the 25th Awit Awards.
As mentioned in one of his interviews, Bamboo is not strictly pegged to a single music genre, which makes him a reliable coach for the “TeamKawayan” at the hit Filipino reality TV show, The Voice of the Philippines, alongside the world-renowned theatre actress Lea Salonga, Philippines’ Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo and world-famous RnB star and Black Eyed Peas member, Apl.de.ap.
On top of that, he is currently appearing in ASAP, one of the country’s famed Sunday entertainment show, graced by the biggest artists in the industry.
The show will be staged at the Dubai World Trade Center on 27 October with tickets starting from 125 AED, available from Platinumlist.net
