World Classical Music Series Featuring UAE Local Talents

7 EMIRATI PIANISTS, 1 COMPOSER dedicated to the year of ZAYED
Under the Patronage of the UAE Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development

For the very first time, gifted Emirati classical musicians will come together to perform in a special one-night only concert at the opulent Royal Ballroom at the One&Only Royal Mirage. Seven pianists – Fatima Alhashmi, Eman Dohai, Mariam Alhashmi, Bushra Dohai, Ahmed Alnuami, Hamed Altaee and Mohamed Aljahoori will perform a stunning classical programme that will include pieces composed by Altaee. The programme is dedicated to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for the Year of Zayed, which marks 100 years since the birth of the UAE’s Founding Father in 1918.

The evening is organised by dcc- Dubai Concert Committee, which was established in 1996 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The aim of the committee is to support the cultural dialogue in Dubai and the UAE by providing first-class classical concerts to music lovers in the Emirate.

This concert highlights the musical development in the UAE and the Gulf region and promises to inspire young and old from around the globe. It also marks a grand milestone in the history of dcc- Dubai Concert Committee's 22 years of promoting and cultivating classical music in Dubai.
