We Left As Humans is a 5 piece Space Rock band based in Dubai UAE. Coming from different bands with different musical backgrounds, the band managed to get together to form their own style of music. The bands distinct progressive yet ambient sound makes them a unique group in the region. Their intense live set serves as the bands vehicle to bring you a whole new different experience of soundscapes, mixed with visual animation they are really something to look forward to. Supporting WLAH is hard rock / punk band Skeptic. These high schoolers have just released their debut album, ‘Wrath & Lust,’ and they are ready to take the Concert Series by storm.
Thanae Pachiyannaki is a Greek/Omani performer and the lead singer of the band ‘Pulse and soul’, one of the most established bands in Muscat. Inspired by Alicia Keys and Joss Stone and known for her charisma, energetic stage presence and a soulful sound, Thanae’ decided to write her own album ‘Between 2 Doors’, which she launched in November 2018. Supporting Thanae is Zero Day, an alternative rock high school band fronted by the up and coming Millie Page. Expect an energetic show, with lyrics inspired by social issues.
Hailing from Cairo, Chicago, and Cleveland, John is a local artist who is enthusiastic about songwriting and pursuing the beauty in melody and lyrics. He released his debut album ‘The Sands of Time Are Sinking’ in late 2018, which is soothing, yet complex and folky all at the same time. If you had to classify it, Pop/Folk, Fusion, East meets West would be as close as you could get. Supporting John will be Ibby VK, Pop and Acoustic Singer/Songwriter in the Dubai music scene, with a strong social media presence and interactive performance. Since his decision to become a full time musician, Ibby has released 6 original songs, on all platforms.
Mozaik is composed of a group of passionate musicians who combined their musical talents and passion to form a musical mix of Arabesque, Latin and Rumba Flamenco styles. Typically playing as a trio, for the concert series they will bring on special guests to put on a memorable show. They will be performing a rich repertoire of songs ( Italian, English, Arabic & Spanish), which they have arranged in a fusion style to reflect the harmony of the Oriental, Gipsy and Latin passion. Supporting Mozaik is Ziyad Sahab, a Lebanese folk and political music artist who has released 2 albums, collaborating with famous Egyptian poets.
