Men make war; women live with the consequence.

During the past millennium, society has witnessed wars and terror causing the human family to be stressed and the social fabric to be ripped apart.

The scale and severity of human suffering in global armed conflicts continue to grow at an alarming pace.

These conflicts have driven countless individuals out of their homes.

Women live and react to these consequences, yet they are barely passive.

They grieve, fight pain and reinvent themselves, get rid of an old identity, and forge a new one shaped by war.

Women are not the hapless victims of political violence. In fact, quite the opposite is true.

Women play a vital role in resisting political oppression, settling conflicts, and rebuilding their societies.

In a world where conflict resolution is typically portrayed as an activity of male politicians and experts, there is little recognition for women at the centre of political violence contribute to conflict resolution.

Women are agents of change.

They are major sources of stability in conflict-affected areas and they maintain together not only their families but also their communities.

Dhi is this call against war, for a more secure and friendly society, a society where humans but not genders live.

This is an open love letter for future generations from a battlefield.

Although it is written in the blood of our martyrs but with the feather of mankind.
