Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival in Dubai

Join us on the 8th of December 2023 at the Dubai Autodrome for a momentous occasion - the revival of the classic 1981 Dubai Grand Prix in honor of the UAE's 50th Anniversary. The Dubai Autodrome Circuit will come alive with the roaring engines of the Historic F1 Grand Prix and Group C cars from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, competing in thrilling races. Witness the timeless beauty and power of these legendary vehicles as they speed around the track, capturing the essence of historic motorsport.

Friday: from 8 am to 7 pm
Saturday: from 8 am to 10 pm
Sunday: from 9 am to 7 pm

Event policies, restrictions, and terms: 

• The festival is open to all ages.
• Free for Children under 12 years old.
• Grid Walks are forbidden for children under 12 years old.
• Ensure you meet the age requirements for your grid walk ticket. ID verification will occur at entrances.
• The Gulf Historic Organization is making every effort to provide access to people with disabilities.
• In order to access the revival, there are no steps: only ramps and lifts.
• It is possible to access all the outside and inside facilities accessible by ramps or lifts.  

Dress Code
Featuring bell-bottom pants, platform shoes, disco-inspired jumpsuits, colorful maxi dresses, wide-collar shirts, funky blouses, flared jeans, suede fringed jackets, and oversized sunglasses. Let's turn back the clock and celebrate the fashion of the groovy 70s!'

Merchandise

• The Official Gulf Historic merchandise is developed and sold by GPX Store.
• The merchandise will be launched on the first day of the event at the GPX Store and will be available onsite only.
• A pop-up GPX Store will be located inside the paddock.
• The full GPX Store is based inside the Dubai Autodrome, Unit 4 in the Business Park.
• All products from the collection are produced in limited quantities.

Payment methods

Both cash and cards are accepted at the festival.

First aid

During the festival's opening hours, first aid teams provided by the Medical Center of the Dubai Autodrome will be permanently present.

Charging your phone

To ensure you are always able to create content, Gulf Historic has a Recharge Station available in the Paddock Village and at the Apex Garden.

Forbidden objects

If you lose one of your items, you can ask if it has been found at the Information Booth, which is located in the paddock.

However, the organization does not take responsibility for any loss.

Toilets

Use of the toilets is free of charge.

Cleaning services are on site all day long to ensure cleanliness.

Prayer room

An area will be dedicated during the event for prayer time.

Even on-site, you will be able to stay and pray.

The relevant area will be communicated ahead of the event.

How to get there
There is only one general public entrance at the festival site which is located at the Dubai Autodrome Grandstand entrance*

By car: Free public parking will be available at a 2-minute walk from the main entrance.
Overflow parking will be available if required, at a 7-minute walk from the main entrance.

By bus: The nearest bus station is opposite the main entrance, only a minute's walk away.

By Plane: The Dubai International Airport (DXB) is a 30-minute drive from the Dubai Autodrome Grandstand entrance.
