At the heart of the festival lies the GameExpo, running at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in Za'abeel Halls 5 and 6, from 3 to 5 May, marking a new venue for this year's celebration of gaming culture. Open to the public, the ticketed event welcomes gamers of all ages, genres and formats. Ticket holders can explore cutting-edge gaming products, newly released titles, meet regional and global gaming stars, in addition to taking part in esports competitions.

GameExpo features a variety of zones to suit different interests. Fans can step into an epic adventure and explore the Gaming District, where the latest game releases and previews await; the Future Zone, where cutting-edge tech meets the pulse of tomorrow's gaming; the Retro Zone, which offers a nostalgic blast from the past; while The Narrows, a bustling shopping alley brimming with artists showcasing their craft, promises an unforgettable experience for all.

Families can bond over gaming battles at the new Family Zone, while the Electric Avenue houses a curated selection of specialised electronic retailers, perfect for tech enthusiasts seeking out the latest gaming gear at great prices.

GameExpo 2024 guarantees an immersive and engaging experience for all visitors with cosplay competitions, esports tournaments, coding workshops, Minecraft family challenges and the epic Play Beyond influencer showdown on the 4 & 5 May!

Metro:

Take the Metro to Dubai World Trade Center Metro Station and follow the signage through the DWTC to the Zabeel Halls 5&6 (5-8min walk from the metro). Dubai’s metro system is a quick and efficient option when visiting our venue. The world’s longest driverless train system is clean, quiet and fully air conditioned. Trains run every few minutes, from 5 am to 11 pm using a Nol Card, which can be obtained easily from any station.

Taxi/Careem/Uber:

Taxis or private transport will be permitted to drop attendees directly in front of the entrance at Zabeel 6. Fares start at a base fee of 5 AED or 12 AED if pre-booked and most taxis in Dubai are now equipped to take credit card payment.

Driving/Parking:

There is parking available outdoor in front of the Zabeel Halls 5&6. Parking is 15dhs for the first hour and 10dhs for each additional hour. We work closely with the transport authority to manage major event traffic by road and ensure seamless access for visitors with minimum interruption to traffic flow.
