Journey into the heart of Middle Eastern poetry with Dana Dajani, a celebrated Palestinian writer and activist honored as one of the 50 Influential and Inspirational Women in the UAE. After captivating audiences in Florence, Bucharest, Athens, and Philadelphia in 2023, Dana returns to Dubai in 2024 to breathe life into the region's most beloved poems at TODA.
From the poignant verses of Mahmoud Darwish and Khalil Gibran to the timeless wisdom of Mawlana Rumi, Dana will intricately weave together themes of yearning, hope, and spiritual strength. Accompanied by the soulful melodies of Nabiha on the Oud and the captivating performances of whirling dancer and singer Rawan, this event promises a multi-dimensional exploration of Islamic heritage and enduring poetry.
Join us during this sacred month to reconnect with the rich tapestry of our cultural legacy and to immerse yourself in the beauty of poetry, presented in a dynamic and immersive 360° experience.
