Stand Up Dubai ft Luisa Omielan - Thursday 28th February

Internationally acclaimed, comic, actress, author and BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Luisa Omielan joins us for the 2nd edition of Stand Up Dubai on Thursday 28th February at ubk - urban bar & kitchen, Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers. Doors open 7pm-10pm and it's free entry for all. Strictly 21+. Reservations are advised.

Luisa Omielan is one of the most exciting voices to come out of London. Her debut stand up show, What Would Beyoncé Do?! is the most successful debut show to come out of the Edinburgh Fringe, a phenomenal word of mouth smash hit. She has performed this show around the globe, had it broadcast on BBC1 as a stand- alone special and turned it into a memoir. Her follow up show 'Am I Right Ladies?!' was also met with critical acclaim, with a joke from the show about the infamous 'Thigh Gap' going viral with currently over 45 million views online. There is nobody on the stand-up circuit like Luisa Omielan.

Sahar Ali is a comedian previously based in Ireland. She has performed in some of Ireland's biggest and best festivals such as Lingo Festival, The Dublin Literature Festival, Dublin Fringe Festival, Body & Soul and the Vodafone Comedy Festival 2017/2018. Sahar wrote and performed a sold-out one-woman show 'Saharcasm' at the Dublin Fringe Festival and has featured on the critically acclaimed AMC's drama Into The Badlands and David Gleeson's 'Don't Let Go'.
