Mattel Play! Town is a magical, safe, and interactive indoor ‘eduplay’ attraction for children between ages 2 and 10 that is themed around five of the most popular children’s characters, allowing little visitors to delve into the world of their favourite characters. Visitors enjoy engaging and stimulating play experiences around the five world recognised brands from the global toy company, Mattel: Barneyᵀᴹ, Thomas & Friendsᵀᴹ, Bob the Builderᵀᴹ, Angelina Ballerinaᵀᴹ, and Fireman Samᵀᴹ, along with live shows, to create long-lasting memories. Mattel Play! Town is built on the concept of eduplay, a play-based education theory that highlights the importance of stimulating children’s imagination and fantasy to facilitate the development of social skills. An exclusive retail space with the latest offering from Mattel and a café serving healthy meals and snacks complement the magical experience at Mattel Play! Town. Mattel Play! Town is located at CITY WALK in Dubai.

From dressing up to steadying the scaffold and building a city, children will learn the value of teamwork when joining Bob the Builder in Mattel Play! Town.
The plans are laid out and Scoop is waiting, positive thinking, problem solving and teamwork will get the job done! Whether designing buildings in kinetic sand or hoisting blocks for intricate creative work, Bob the Builder and his crew will teach children life skills and demonstrate how The Fun Is In Getting It Done!

With Thomas & Friends ™ children enter a world of imagination through the tracks of a train and the words of a story. As children embark for fun with their engine friends, adventures unfold that lead to timeless life lessons.

Parents and Little Engineer's enjoy a unique connection on every journey, whether exploring the Island of Sodor through our themed play structure or enjoying magical movies in our Thomas & Friends 4D cinema.
Adventure seekers are welcomed aboard at Knapford Station where Percy and Harold will take them on an exciting journey to new heights. Then on to the 4D cinema where Thomas & Friends stories are brought to life as children see their favourite friends in action.

Pontypandy is the most accident prone town in Britain, frequently calling on Fireman Sam ™ and the rescue services to save the day. When he isn’t fighting fires, Fireman Sam may well be called on to man the lifeboat, help the mountain rescue or team up with the emergency medical services. Even when Sam has no official role in the rescue, he is always there to help.

Get dressed for action, navigate the adventure maze and learn about fire health and safety – children joining Fireman Sam will be ready to save the day!
With Fireman Sam safety always comes first and bravery is commended. Our aerial adventure maze will test even the most fearless firefighters – do you have what it takes to complete the course and save the day?


*Angelina Ballerina ™ is a feisty little mouse who dances after her dreams with grace and determination. With her strong sense of knowing that it’s what’s inside that counts, she works hard and learns from her mistakes as she pursues her dream of becoming a star both on stage and off. Dress up, make up, dancing and crafts provide the perfect experience for our inspiring Angelina's at Camembert Academy. Dance and performance are centre stage inside our interactive dance studio. A magic mirror and interactive dance wall will bring out your child's inner Angelina and ensure they always put their best toe forward.


*Barney ™ is a 200-million year old loveable, huggable T-rex who encourages sharing, caring, imagining, dancing and learning. Barney springs from a child’s imagination and helps them learn and grow as they explore exciting new places. This dino-mite dino encourages positive values and good manners for growing children everywhere.

- From Al Wasl Road from Abu Dhabi direction:
Continue towards Dubai on D92, turning right onto Al Safa Street/D71
Turn right at the second traffic light, parking will be available underground to your right

- From Abu Dhabi via Sheikh Zayed Road:
Follow Sheikh Zayed Rd/E11 to Al Safa St/D71. Take the exit toward Burj Khalifa from Sheikh Zayed Rd/E11

- From Dubai International Airport:
Get on Ell from Airport Rd/D89 and D70
Head northeast Follow Ell to Al Safa St/D71 in Dubai. Take exit 51A from Ell
Take exit SIA toward Jumeirah
Keep left and merge onto Al Safa St/D71
Go left at second traffic signal, parking is available underground on your right

• Immersed in a world designed for the young mind, students will learn how to use their imagination and creativity with their favourite characters.
• Suitable for ages 2-10 years old. Students will have access to all 5 character zones within Mattel Play! Town.
o Angelina Ballerina: Enjoy arts and crafts inspired by our favourite ballerina.
o Bob the Builder: From dressing up to steadying the scaffold and building a city, children will learn the value of teamwork when joining Bob the Builder.

o Fireman Sam: Become part of the busiest rescue team in the land and save the day in Ponty Pandy.
o Thomas and Friends: Go on a ride through the Island of Sodor in our 4DX theatre and meet the characters in our multi-level soft play.
o Barney: Explore the outdoor playground and enjoy our houseful of activities including arts and crafts, singing and playing instruments.

Duration
• A school visit to Mattel Play! Town is an open day pass starting from 9:00am daily, where children can explore the 5 character zones spread over two levels.

Programme
• Students will be greeted with a live show upon arrival to Mattel Play! Town.
• Open access to all areas for as long as the school desires.
Additional
• Complimentary participation certificates for every student.
• 3 opportunities to meet the Mattel Play! Town Characters in either meet and greets, stage shows or Barney's super-dee-duper dance alongs.
• With every 10 students 1 teacher is free of charge.
• Free parking.
