Niki Mukhi & Friends Live in Dubai

The Rotaract Club of Jumeirah welcomes back internationally renowned composer and guitarist Niki Mukhi to the Dubai stage for a one-night-only performance of world fusion music featuring internationally acclaimed artists from around the globe. Over the last few years Niki has been working on many projects, from writing albums to scores for international theatre to recording soundtracks for television documentaries and radio (including the BAFTA nominated BBC documentary The Power of Art) whilst regularly performing everywhere from London to Las Palmas to Madrid. Much like the cultural melting pot that is Dubai – and his birthplace - Niki’s compositions are reminiscent of multicultural co-existence and evolution into the 21st century. Expect to experience music inspired by flamenco, jazz, qawwali, Indian classical and soul music played by a celebrated collective of musicians and guests from Dubai, the United Kingdom, Lebanon, India, the Caribbean and beyond. The artists on the night include Faheem Mahzar, Marica Escoffery, Soumik Datta, Claudia Georgette, Rony and Elie Afif and more who have worked with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Sting, Elton John, Pavarotti, Eric Clapton, Vanessa Mae, Shankar Mahadevan, Nitin Sawney and many more who will be performing pieces composed by Niki.
