Located in the Wafi City Pyramids, Carter’s is more often considered one of Dubai’s most popular nightspots than as a place to go and experience culinary specialities. You’ll be pleasantly surprised, however, if you decide to sample the all-day menu on offer, which, despite being on the pricey side, has some of the most original and well-presented dishes in Dubai.
The chic Egyptian-themed bistro has a choice of three areas to eat in: two inside, and a patio area outdoors, which is fabulous at this time of year. The service was not the quickest, but when it came, it was slick and friendly. Fresh bread rolls with peppered soft white cheese was brought as we browsed the menu, and the drinks ordered (two orange juices, Dhs13 each) arrived immediately (as you would expect, as we were right next to the bar).
