The FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off on Thursday, 11 June, and Bla Bla by McGettigan’s sets the tone for the night with a live concert and fan-zone experience.

Before Mexico takes on South Africa at 11:00 PM, the concert takes place in The Tent, featuring two leading names in South African music: Ross Learmonth, formerly of Prime Circle, and Arno Carstens of Springbok **** Girls.

Expect live performances of some of their biggest hits, including “Do You Feel,” “Hello,” “Breathing,” “Blue Eyes,” and “Genie,” as The Tent transforms into The Stadium for the World Cup.

Part of one of Dubai’s biggest fan zones, Bla Bla by McGettigan’s will screen matches across large screens in The Stadium, The Arena, and The Boot Room, creating a full match-night experience.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, with South African support artist Aston Wylie performing from 7:30 PM, followed by Ross Learmonth and Arno Carstens taking the stage at 9:00 PM.

Tickets are priced at AED 160, including one drink. Match Only tickets are available for AED 60, including one drink, with entry from 10:30 PM.

By car: To reach your destination, drive along Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and take the exit toward King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street (D94). Continue onto Exit 29 and merge onto King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street. Follow the signs for South Beach Entrance by taking Al Sayorah Street, and proceed straight through the roundabout to arrive at your destination.

By public transportation: You can easily reach your destination by taking the T1 tram to Jumeirah Beach Residence 2 Tram Station and take a short walk from there.
