Eric Martin ( Voice of Mr. Big) Live in Dubai

Eric Martin - Eric is known worldwide as the voice of Mr. Big, an 80’s hard rock and glam metal band, best known for their hit ‘To Be With You’, which was No.1 in 15 countries in early 90’s. Martin penned the song for the bands second album ‘Lean Into It’ which was a hugely successful follow up to their self-titled debut album. Martin recorded a further four albums with Mr. Big before they called it quits in 2002.

Eric keeps himself busy all over Europe playing solo gigs and along with full electric gigs with local house bands, this was a way to ensure he could keep touring whilst keeping costs down for everyone.

In 2009 Mr. Big bowed to public pressure and announced a summer tour of Japan. A world tour followed suit, with tour dates all across Europe, along with several gigs in South East Asia, particularly in India, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and South Korea.

In 2011 they released ‘What If…’ their first album of brand new material in ten years, it was also the band’s first album with original guitarist Paul Gilbert since his departure in ‘97 a year after they released ‘Hey Man’.

Since 1985 Eric has recorded eleven solo albums, his latest in 2012 titled ‘Mr. Rock Vocalist’, seven Mr. Big albums, an album with his very first band ‘The Eric Martin Band’ in early 80’s. Eric has also guested on over 15 different albums ranging from artists like Ted Nugent, Europe to diverse as Michael Bolton.

Moonshine: are a Dubai based rock band made of experienced musicians. They released their debut EP titled 'Moonshine' in February 2010. Singles from the EP have featured on compilations around the region such as Museland, Metal Asylum and have been played on local and international radio stations. Moonshine have performed at concerts & festivals including the Mainstage Live, DREAM, Jash (Bits Pilani College Festival), Dubomedy Festival, Dubai Original Music Festival, Adrenaline Live, Rock Nation, Metal Asylum and RAK International Marathon to name a few. Moonshine plays their original music as well as covers and have a friendly rock sound that works with all audiences.

KickSound: is a four-piece alternative band that dresses as sharp as a tiger's incisor and rocks harder than Uluru. Its scorchingly hot debut EP, imaginatively titled 'Kicksound', has caused so many CD players to catch fire that it comes with a government safety warning.

Ashwin Thomas: Hugely talented singer/ songwriter who has been creating waves in the Dubai music scene. Ashwin has performed internationally and is in the process of recording his debut album. He is joined by a hugely talented band and will be the one to watch for.
