Get ready for the hottest play you will see in Dubai this year! Theatre by QE2 is delighted to present TORN – in conjunction with Zara Stars, Eloshades andOsman Boubakr, on our stage on Friday April 26th at 8.30pm.

Written and directed by award winning Australian writer/director Alex Broun, and performed by a quartet of Dubai’s finest actors, TORN is a sexy, fast-paced, brutal, funny and at times moving dissection of post-millennium relationships.

New York. Today. Four people in various stages of connection …

Susan (Nadine Basiony), a lawyer, is in a relationship with Cade (Osman Aboubakr), an advertising executive.
Then there’s Gerry (Elie Choufani), a voice-over artist, who is in love with Daniella, (Lis Panilla) Susan’s PA.

With echoes of Patrick Marber’s Closer, TORN is about the impossibility and possibility of love in a modern world where choices abound and nothing is forever. Don’t miss it.

By car: You can follow Sheikh Zayed Road towards Port Rashid, then follow signs for Queen Elizabeth 2.

By public transportation: Take the Red Line metro and get off at BurJuman Metro Station. From there, take a taxi or rideshare to reach Queen Elizabeth 2.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the Queen Elizabeth 2 from anywhere in Dubai. It's a famous destination and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
