The 14th edition of the InClassica International Music Festival, organised by SAMIT Event Group, will be graced with another legendary name on Thursday 10th April 2025, as it prepares to welcome the lauded Monegasque violinist Maxim Vengerov to this latest edition. Universally hailed as one of the world’s finest musicians, and often referred to as the greatest living string player in the world today, the Grammy award winner also enjoys international acclaim as a conductor and is one of the most in-demand soloists in the world today. Beginning his journey as a solo violinist at the age of 5, and winning the Wieniawski and Carl Flesch international competitions at the ages of 10 and 15 respectively, Vengerov has gone on to enjoy a uniquely stellar career, recording extensively with various labels and winning, among others, Grammy and Gramophone artist of the year awards. Having performed in Dubai on various occasions, Vengerov will be joined on the stage of Dubai Opera by the Franz Schubert Filharmonia for this event, who will themselves be led by the famed French conductor Lionel Bringuier.
