Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is one of the largest suspended aquariums in the world, and is located in Dubai Mall, the most-visited shopping mall in the world. The aquarium boasts a massive 10 million liter tank made from one of the world's largest acrylic panels weighing over 245,000 kg. Shark dives in the Dubai Aquarium organized by Al Boom Diving help you discover and explore this grandeur aquarium and its amazing marine life.

You must be a certified PADI diver (or similar) for this dive.

Activity outside the cage:

Shark dive for certified divers only
Minimum age: 10Y/O
Minimum certification: Jr. Scuba Diver
Maximum 4 people at a time daily and dive timings are: 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm (briefing and preparation 1 hour before)
For certified divers who haven’t dive for more than 6 months, they will do a refresher course 2 hours before the dive and it will cost extra AED 157.50 per person.

You will need to arrive one hour beforehand, with certification card/e-card or proof of certification, at the entrance to the Underwater Zoo on Level 2.
A short and informative presentation will be given to prepare you for your dive.
Water temperature is 23-24°C, you will be using a 5.5mm wetsuit to ensure your comfort.
A maximum of four divers can be booked for any one session.
Please note that according to safe diving and flying procedures, you must allow for 12 hours for a single dive, or 18 hours for multiple dives, before you can fly.
If you have not dived within the last six months, PADI highly recommend you complete a Refresher course which we run in the Aquarium at a discounted rate of AED 157.50
At the end of your diving experience, you will receive free ticket to visit Underwater Zoo. Kindly collect your ticket from our Crew.
Eligibility: Minimum age is 10 years old, PADI Jr. Scuba Diver or equivalent, medical form must be completed by all divers, not applicable for our pregnant guests.
Guest below 18 years old needs to be accompanied by parent/guardian to sign liabilities on site
The Burj Khalifa is over 300m tall, allow 12 hours after a single dive or 18 hours after multiple dives before going to the observation deck, or go before your dive.
Bring Swimwear, toiletries, valid ID, and certification card/e-card for certified divers and booking confirmation.
We provide you with all the diving gear, and we strive to maintain the highest standard in quality, safety, and hygiene in our diving gear to ensure your safety and enjoyment as well as the safety and well-being of the inhabitants.
Our diving instructors will ensure your safety at all times and are equipped with a GoPro to film and help you remember this experience of a lifetime.
You must be a certified PADI diver (or similar) for this dive. We also offer several courses to get you up to speed.
All equipment will be provided, but if customers would like to use their own equipment they are only allowed to bring your own regulator, mask, snorkel, and dive computer.
It is not possible to take their own Go Pro or Underwater Camera into the Aquarium. Underwater cameras are available to rent at the current price of AED 184. Our instructors will take the video footage of their dive/activity and they will receive the memory card at the end with the raw footage.

Free cancellation or rescheduling is allowed up to 48 hours before the experience.

By car: Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo Age is located in The Dubai Mall, which is easily accessible by car. You can easily park the car in The Dubai Mall parking.

By public transportation: The mall is easily accessible by public transportation. If you are taking the metro, you can get off at the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa station and walk to the mall via an air-conditioned overpass. Once you get to Dubai Mall, you need to walk through the mall to the lower ground floor (also referred to as LG).

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the mall from anywhere in Dubai. It’s a popular destination, and most taxi drivers will be familiar with the location.
