SUN & BASS BBQ Brunch

Running since 2003 on the beautiful island of Sardinia, SUN AND BASS is THE festival for true Drum & Bass heads... For the first time in the Middle East, Bassworx DXB brings SUN AND BASS to Dubai with an all day 10 hour session!

A development of the LIQUID DRUM & BASS BRUNCH concept started in February with Mistanoize and then May with DJ BRYAN GEE, we have gone in and booked not one but TWO INTERNATIONAL ACTS!

The event begins with a BBQ Brunch from 5-8PM including unlimited house drinks for a bargain 275AED. Entrance to the After Party from 8PM-3AM is 50AED with 20% off all house drinks from 8-10PM. Spaces for the brunch are limited so call 043659911 / 0557730010 to get your table booked ASAP!

A SIDES, aka Jason Cambridge, is a veteran Drum & Bass DJ, Producer & Engineer, with a truly epic catalogue stretching back over the last 3 decades. He celebrates 25 years in Drum & Bass with the 4 part LP 'Quart' released at the end of August.

Jason established EASTSIDE RECORDS in 1996, and has released over 85 records since its inception. There have been four solo A SIDES albums, as well as "Aquarian Dreams” produced with MAKOTO, covering every aspect of JUNGLE and DRUM & BASS. Jason is also a highly accomplished engineer, having collaborated with CALIBRE, DJ MARKY, BREAK, RANDALL, JENNA G and GOLDIE.

A SIDES is a long-standing friend of MC FATS and has been the figurehead behind ‘WE GOTCHA’ - a fundraising album for FATS. We ran an event for FATS back in 2014 and welcome back A SIDES to smash up the dance once again!

A veteran of the scene from the early days, Jason’s influence has been immense. He’s led A&R for many labels, including his own imprints FUZE and EASTSIDE, and was amongst the first to recognize and nurture the talent of producers such as BREAK.

Always moving forward and shaping new styles, in 2008 Jason established BASSHEAD MUSIC with DJ Burn to showcase the finest in alternative bass heavy beats. Releases have included tracks by 12TH PLANET, SKREAM, DATSIK, BASSNECTAR, FIGURE and ZED’S DEAD.


*** DELICAT (Sun And Bass) ***

Founder of the SUN AND BASS festival, DELICAT aka Stefano makes his Middle East debut, flying in from Germany where he runs SUN AND BASS Recordings with ArpXP.

A pioneer of the Drum & Bass scene, Stefano started the SUN AND BASS festival in 2003. What began as a 'DnB Holiday' has grown into one of the most infulential and highly regarded Drum & Bass festivals on the planet! Heralded as a community event where artists and ravers rub shoulders on the beach and in the club.

The brunch runs from 5-8pm and includes all house beverages and BBQ buffet for 275AED! Brunch tickets give entrance to the afterparty from 8pm onwards. The afterparty alone costs 50AED. Story will be running afterparty drinks promotions with 20% off from 8-10pm.

We will be complimenting Story’s FUNKTION ONE sound system with our very own 4400W HK AUDIO setup. Expect crisp highs, clear mids and pounding sub bass!
