If you are taking the metro, you can get off at the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa station and walk to the mall via an air-conditioned overpass. Once you get to Dubai Mall, you need to walk through the mall to the lower ground floor (also referred to as LG).

Obviously the fish were the stars, but the staff were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. It was a vey enjoyable experience , will recommend it to our friends if we know they are visiting Dubai in the future.
