Short+Sweet 2022

''Short+Sweet 2022, the ‘’biggest little play festival’’ returns for its milestone 10th Year in Dubai. The popular 10-minute play festival will run from the 29th of January to the 20th of March, 2022 at The Junction, AlSerkal Avenue. With this year’s theme ‘’Unleash your Talent’’, the festival brings the Dubai Theater Community together for 9 weeks of theatrical magic, community bonding, networking, and pushing new boundaries of creativity.

Featuring at least 120 10-minute plays battle it out for a spot in the Gala Finals. The participants can be of any age, cultural background, and the play of any format – the ONLY rule – it shouldn’t exceed 10 minutes. This edition too will feature the Regional Week (3rd week of the festival) – which is hyper-focused on non-English plays. The 4th week this year is the Mythology and Musicals week – where the plays are of 10 minutes based on either or both themes.''

RED CARPET GALA
- Sunday 20th March - 7:30 PM - Proof of full vaccination (one dose is not fully vaccinated for any vaccine except Jonhson)  Or  - Show a 48-hour negative PCR result.
