ABOUT STRETCH ARMSTRONG:

Stretch Armstrong is an internationally recognised DJ and cultural pioneer with an incomparable career. The 90s hip-hop legend programmed the 'Stretch and Bobbito' radio show which received high praise recently from the New York Times and was recognised as “The Best Radio Show Of All-Time” by the Source Magazine. His radio show launched the careers of many rap and hip-hop legends such as Notorious BIG, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, Wu-Tang Clan and many others. Stretch has also produced platinum selling artists such as Lil Kim, collaborated with Jay-Z and Eminem, music supervised several films, and has made several national television appearances, including the 'Arsenio Hall' and 'Conan O’Brien' shows at a time when DJs were rarely seen on television. As a club DJ, the progenitor of the "open-format” DJ style (incorporating a multitude of musical genres) Stretch considers himself a multi-genre purist and has spun all over the world for over two decades. The event is presented by Deep Crates Cartel and well known Dubai based hip hop culture pioneer and turntablist Lobito Brigante. Also hosting and DJing at the event will be Dubai's own Dan Greenpeace who has a deep history in the world of hip-hop as DJ, record label owner, producer and radio presenter himself.
