In 2010, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo made history by introducing Gentoo penguins, the first of their kind in the region.

These fascinating penguins, sourced from a U.S. facility, reside in a state-of-the-art exhibit that meticulously replicates Subantarctic conditions, maintaining air temperatures between 2-4°C and water temperatures between 5-7°C, along with a specialized light cycle. The exhibit, home to 16 penguins, features engaging climbing structures and a fun slide.

Visitors can embark on a unique journey starting with "Penguin Cove" and progressing to the "Penguin Encounter," where they can enjoy immersive interactions and learn about the penguins' natural behaviors.

The "Penguin Encounter Dubai Aquarium" offers a captivating experience for all ages, providing an up-close look at these charming creatures.

The "Dubai Aquarium Underwater Zoo & Penguin Cove Experience" promises a memorable adventure with the delightful Gentoo penguins, truly showcasing the wonder of penguins in an aquarium setting.

By car: Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo Age is located in The Dubai Mall, which is easily accessible by car. You can easily park the car in The Dubai Mall parking.

By public transportation: The mall is easily accessible by public transportation. If you are taking the metro, you can get off at the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa station and walk to the mall via an air-conditioned overpass. Once you get to Dubai Mall, you need to walk through the mall to the lower ground floor (also referred to as LG).

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the mall from anywhere in Dubai. It’s a popular destination, and most taxi drivers will be familiar with the location.
